CrossFit 20260601(Reps) WELCOME TO JUNE! June's Focus: Gas Pedal You should expect high-power, short-duration efforts that will challenge you to keep the gas pedal down. We're transitioning from longer conditioning efforts to hard, high power output workouts. We'll be helping you to find loads and skill levels that allow you to feel the intended stimulus of each workout while maintaining high intensity. WARM-UP: 200m walk 10 box step-ups 10 scap pull-ups 10 AbMat sit-ups 10 air squats 200m run 10 box jumps 10 kip swings 10 AbMat sit-ups 10 jumping air squats 200m run 10 box jump-overs 10 kip swings 10 AbMat sit-ups 10 jumping air squats WOD MOVEMENT REVIEW & WARM-UP: 2 sets: 4 squat cleans – Touch-and-go reps WOD: 4 x AMRAP x 3mins Rx: STIMULUS 40-80 total reps 21 AbMat sit-ups 15 box jump-overs (24/20) 9 squat cleans (135/95) Max toes-to-bars in remaining time – Rest 3:00 between AMRAPs MODIFICATIONS: -Reduce overall volume to have at least :30 for toes-to-bars each round -Box jump-overs, modify height then movement, e.g., step-overs -Squat cleans, modify weight to light to complete in :30-:45 -T2B, modify movement, e.g., knees to armpits, hanging OR lying leg raises STIMULUS NOTES: 40-80 total reps :30-:60 for toes-to-bars Fast sit-ups and box jumps each in 1:15-1:45 Squat cleans in :30-:45; light enough to hold onto or maintain fast singles Large sets of toes-to-bars to start; sets of 1-3 reps in later rounds STRETCHING: 1:00 child’s pose :30 cobra stretch :30 pigeon stretch/leg
